About Paintings by Numbers
Paintings by Numbers (paintingsbynumbers.com) is an independent hobby website about technique. Once you have finished a kit or two, it helps you get cleaner edges, better coverage, smarter color mixing and a more professional finish.
Who this site is for
The site is written for painters who already know the basics of paint by numbers and want their next canvas to look better: smoother skies, crisper lines, numbers that no longer show through, and a finish worth framing.
What you will find here
- Technique guides on color mixing, choosing difficulty, brush care, finishing and sealing and working faster.
- Free in-browser tools on the home page: an interactive color wheel with harmonies, a palette inspiration gallery and a project tracker that saves to your own browser, plus a canvas size calculator.
- A technique FAQ.
